Marquet Madness Rules the Fox Hunt
Bickersons (Silver Deputy - Dancehall Floozy by Paramount Jet) took all the action at the windows, going off less than even money. But, it was Marquet Madness (Pico Central (BRZ) - To Marquet by Marquetry) who grabbed the early lead on the muddy (sealed) track. Bickersons chased in second, but tired in the stretch and ended up 5th. Roses for Bailey (Stephen Got Even - Shanli's Hope by Ferdinand) put in a nice run late, coming through on the inside to nip Our Jane (Trippi - Raise Fee by Menifee) for second. Fox Hunt (Saint Liam - Zorra by Silver Fox) ran fourth for most of the race, passing a tiring Bickersons late. Fox Hunt galloped out strong, passing many horses including the winner. Marquet Madness, out of stakes winner To Marquet, is the first winner for freshman sire Pico Central. Watch the Replay.
