Ghost Shadow (Ghostzapper - Gracious Living by Pleasant Colony) was scratched at Del Mar. The winner of that one was Roman Charity (Roman Ruler - Trickle Down by Phone Trick), who is the 10th winner for her sire, Roman Ruler. Watch the Replay. Dark Dolores (Strong Hope - Esprit d'Escalier by Diesis (GB)) was a late scratch in this one, as she dumped her rider and took off. She had a lot of fight in her, even after the outrider knabbed her.

D'oro Diablo (gelding; Medaglia d'Oro - Dancehall Floozy by Paramount Jet) was off the turf in his Maiden Special Weight at Woodbine, but that was irrelevant as he stalked the early pace and then drew off to victory. Watch the Replay
Stone Legacy (filly; Birdstone - Gulch Legacy by Gulch) picked up her feet a little late and finished 3rd in her Allowance race at Saratoga. Artisan (filly; Smarty Jones - Alchemilla by Deputy Minister) tired a bit, finishing 5th. Watch the Replay.
Just Right (colt; Pleasantly Perfect - Slewvera by Seattle Slew) was with the pace from the start of his Maiden Special Weight on the turf at Delaware, but weakened late, finishing 4th. Watch the Replay.

Mardi Gras Indy sold for $25,000 as a yearling, and is a full-sister to the winner Touch the Devil, who did win at 2. Mardi Gras Indy's dam, Saphiria, is a half-sister to stakes winners Code Blum, Marsheslew, and Flag On the Play, and grade I winner Left Bank. St. Rose (Lion Heart - Rose Tiara by St. Jovite) finished 7th on June 18 at Arlington, behind Stormin Bon. She also finished 7th on May 24 at Arlington. Both races were at 4.5 furlongs. St. Rose is a half-sister to 4 winners, including stakes-placed Clayton's Trick. Clayton's Trick was a winner at 2, and earned $124,675 in 17 starts.
