I updated the named 2-year old lists for our stallions today for the first time in awhile. It doesn't look like we've missed any entries, but I can almost guarantee that some works have been missed.

Ciminella (Afleet Alex - Bruanna by Housebuster) makes her 4th start, going a mile at Belmont. After finishing 10th on the Belmont turf on July 10, she placed in her next two starts, 3rd on July 18 at Belmont, and 2nd at Saratoga on August 20. Those latter two starts were Maiden Claiming races. Since the Saratoga start, she's worked several times at Belmont, most recently 3 furlongs in :38.84 on the training track. Ciminella is out of stakes winner Bruanna, who won 2 races as a 2-year old, and earned $390,078 overall. Bruanna has produced 2 winners from 3 to run, one of which won at 2. Afleet Alex's 36 runners have made 85 total starts, recording 9 wins, 15 seconds, 9 thirds, and $502,509.

Genuine Charm (Dixie Union - Alluring by A. P. Indy) ran on September 13, finishing 4th at Monmouth, so it is unlikely that she will start this race. She previously finished 4th at Saratoga on August 21, and 7th at Belmont on July 15. She sold for $350,000 as a yearling, and is out of the winning mare Alluring. Alluring has produced the winner Persuasion. Alluring is a daughter of grade I winner Educated Risk.

Sing My Song (Malibu Moon - Listen to My Song by Unbridled's Song) finished 3rd, in front of Genuine Charm, on August 21 at Saratoga. She had previously ran at Saratoga on August 2, when she also finished 3rd. A $140,000 yearling, she is the first foal out of the unraced mare Listen to My Song. Listen to My Song is a half-sister to 4 winners, including stakes winner Indy Bird and grade II winner Listen Here.

Chimayo (A. P. Indy - Chimichurri by Elusive Quality), who is part of an entry with Genuine Charm, faced Sing My Song on August 2 at Saratoga. She hesitated at the start and then stumbled, ending up 8th. It was her only start. Chimayo brought $3.1 million as a yearling. She is out of grade III winner Chimichurri, who won 3 races as a 2-year old, including two stakes. Overall, Chimichurri earned $269,126. She has produced 2 winners from 3 to run, one of which won at 2.

Kitty in a Tizzy (Tiznow - Puma Kitten by Storm Cat) was third in her only start, a 6.5 furlong dirt start at Saratoga on August 23. Kitty in a Tizzy, who sold for $260,000 as a yearling, is a half-sister to one winner and a full-sister to one winner. Her dam, Puma Kitten, is a half-sister to 3 winners, including grade III stakes-placed Charmed Gift.

Cane Candy (Hold That Tiger - Back to Capetown by Cape Town) has also run once, finishing 6th in the mud at Saratoga on August 22. A $16,000 yearling, Cane Candy is out of the winning mare Back to Capetown. Back to Capetown has produced stakes-placed Santana Six, a full-brother to Cane Candy.

The remaining fillies are unraced, including Rhys (Storm Cat - Tina Bull by Holy Bull), who brought $400,000 as a yearling. She is out of grade III stakes-placed Tina Bull, who earned $290,275. Tina Bull is a half-sister to 3 winners, including stakes winner Mi Amigo Guelo.

Selling for $300,000 as a yearling was Coffee Run (Medaglia d'Oro - Viaduct by Thunder Gulch), who is out of the unraced mare Viaduct. Viaduct has produced 5 winners from 5 to run, including Iron Fortitude, a full-brother to Coffee Run.

Performing (Smart Strike - Scorching by Dynaformer) is out of the winning mare Scorching. Scorching has produced 2 winners from 2 to run, including a full-brother to Performing. One of Performing's siblings won at 2. Scorching is also a half-sister to 2 winners, including stakes-placed The Hess Express.

La Cloche (Ghostzapper - Memories of Silver by Silver Hawk) has made one start, finishing 10th on the dirt at Saratoga on August 2. Since that race, she's worked twice on the turf training track at Saratoga, including a 4 furlong work in :50.00 on September 2. Grade I Turf winner Memories of Silver, dam of La Cloche, earned $1,448,715 in a 19 race career. Memories of Silver has produced turf stakes winners British Blue and War Trace. Ghostzapper's 12 runners have made 22 total starts, recording 3 wins, 3 seconds, 3 thirds, and $130,324.

Far Isle (Indian Charlie - Meine Cosmos (IRE) by Caerleon) and Red Barchetta (Seeking the Gold - Indy Five Hundred by A. P. Indy) finished 3rd and 4th at Saratoga on August 30, behind Afleet Maggi. That 5.5 furlong race run on a good track, was originally scheduled for the turf. It was the first and only start for both fillies. Far Isle sold for $165,000 as a yearling, and is out of the placed mare Meine Cosmos. Meine Cosmos is a half-sister to grade I winner Unbridled's Song and three other winners. Unbridled's Song won 2 out of 3 at 2, including the Breeders' Cup Juvenile (gr. I). Turf Grade I winner Indy Five Hundred, dam of Red Barchetta, was a winner at 2 and earned $244,510 in her career. She has produced one winner. That winner, War Lap, was a winner on the turf at 2.

Whydah (More Than Ready - Riverboat Miss by Storm Cat) and Key Quality (Elusive Quality - Forest Key by Green Forest) met on a sloppy track at Saratoga on July 31, finishing 9th and 10th. That race was also originally scheduled for the turf. Whydah sold for $290,000 as a yearling, and is a full-sister to the winner More to the Story, who won a 6 furlong turf race at Belmont on July 2 of this year. Key Quality has made one other start, finishing 7th at 6 furlongs on the Belmont Park turf on July 10. She sold $200,000 as a yearling, and is out of the turf winning mare Forest Key. Forest Key has produced 5 winners, including Gaviola, a grade I winner on the turf.

The last one with experience is Souma (Mr. Greeley - Mountain Bonfire by Mt. Livermore), who finished 7th on August 16 at Saratoga, while running 5.5 furlongs on the dirt. She sold for $250,000 as a yearling, and is a half-sister to the winner Smart Shot, who was stakes-placed on the turf. Their dam, Mountain Bonfire, is a half- or full-sister to 4 winners, including turf stakes-placed winners Follow the Piper and Mountain Beacon, and grade III turf stakes-placed Burst of Fire.

Elarose (Storm Cat - Take Charge Lady by Dehere), who sold for $800,000 as a yearling, is out of grade I winner Take Charge Lady. Take Charge Lady won her first three races as a 2-year old, including the Alcibiades, and earned $2,480,377 overall. Take Charge Lady has produced 2 winners from 2 to run, including one turf winner.

Flyinglouy (Mr. Greeley - Blue Warbler by More Than Ready), part of an entry with Whydah, brought $95,000 as a yearling, and $135,000 as a 2-year old. She is the first foal out of the winning mare Blue Warbler. Blue Warbler is a half-sister to 7 winners, including grade I winner Henny Hughes. Henny Hughes won his first 3 races at 2, including 2 stakes, and earned $1,124,820 overall.

Selling for $130,000 as a yearling was I'm With You (Tiznow - Littelfuse by Carson City), who is out of the winning mare Littelfuse. Littelfuse has produced grade III stakes-placed Tiz to Dream, a full-sister to I'm With You. Littelfuse is a half-sister to champion Gilded Time.

Albany Indian (Cherokee Run - Sunny Nature (GB) by Sadler's Wells), who brought $52,000 as a weanling, is the first foal out of the mare Sunny Nature, who was placed on the turf. Sunny Nature is a half-sister to 3 winners, including Clearing, a group III winner on the turf.

Do So (Storm Cat - Myhrr by Mr. Prospector) is a half-sister to one winner, and a full-sister to Catmosphere, who was a debut winner at 2 on the turf. Her dam, Myhrr, is a full-sister to Kingmambo, a group I winner on the turf, and Miesque's Son, a group III winner on the turf, and a half-sister to group I turf winner East of the Moon, and group III turf winner Mingun. Myhrr's dam is the great Miesque. Do So's full-sister sold at the Keeneland September Yearling sale on September 15 for $300,000, purchased by Bobby Flay.

On the MTO list for this race is Mama Said (Spanish Steps - Sweetness by Stormy Atlantic), who is part of an entry with Key Quality. Mama Said is the first foal out of the placed mare Sweetness. Sweetness is a half-sister to 2 winners.
