Here is the Opportunity

High Definition (Richter Scale - T. V. Countess by T. V. Commercial) was the only scratch. Shesa Bucker (Came Home - Siru by Silver Deputy) was favored, going off at less than even money. Native Kitten (Kitten's Joy - Native Belle by Forestry) was 17-1. Opportunity's Here (Point Given - Flatline by Devil His Due), the only debuter in the field, went for the early lead. Ovid Fasti (Consolidator - Sinister Victory by Vice Regent) pressed for awhile, but soon faded. Favorite Shesa Bucker made a substained run, and inched steadily closer throughout, but couldn't catch Opportunity's Here. Native Kitten made up a lot of ground late to finish third. She was a good nine lengths behind the top two, but she bested the rest of them. Watch the Replay.

Broken Rules (Peace Rules - Puddy Cat by Mountain Cat) took the lead at the break, pressed by Annie's Dream. Judiane's Jubilee (Congaree - Mike's Wildcat by Forest Wildcat) made a move on the turn and took the lead, but Almost Grecian (Toccet - Radon Dancer by Robyn Dancer) was coming and overtook Judiane's Jubilee for the victory. Thundering Home

Freshman Dorm (Orientate - Chatham Hall by Green Dancer) was favored, while William Paley (Afleet Alex - My Sweet Country by Bold Ruckus) was dismissed at 27-1. Freshman Dorm went for the early lead, but Mister Dish (City Place - Atticus's Woman by Atticus) went right with him. These two dueled for a half. Thunder Brew (Milwaukee Brew - Cindy Woo Who by Thunder Gulch), who had been stalking the pacesetters, made a move after 6 furlongs and soon sprinted clear. Gold Medallion (Medaglia d'Oro - Supah Gem by Gold Meridian) and Wildlee Special (Offlee Wild - Special Tapestry by Theatrical (IRE)) both closed into contention, but they couldn't overtake Thunder Brew. William Paley broke inward and trailed the field the whole way round. Watch the Replay.

No Boloney

First-timer Family Holiday (Harlan's Holiday - Balancoire by Diesis (GB)) was favored, but Nervous Marvin (Closing Argument - Mesmerizing by Touch Gold) received plenty attention from the bettors as well. Syo Defenceman (Afleet Alex - Southern Sandra by Dixie Brass), part of an entry with Zip It Nance (City Zip - Baby Nance by Hennessy), was 7-1, and looked good in the post parade. Leon Royale (Lion Heart - Launch a Double by Bright Launch) was given a strong warmup, looked like he might have been getting away from the jockey a bit. Nervous Marvin went to the lead, while Syo Defenceman was off slowly. Up front Tony Boloney (Irish Road - Sybelee by Precise End) went after Nervous Marvin. Those two battled through the stretch, separating themselves from the rest of the field. The winner was decided by a bob, which went to Tony Boloney. Syo Defenceman managed to pass a few, finishing 6th. Watch the Replay.
