Gosmon Too Afleet Again
No scratches in this one. Shellback (Tapit - Daddy's Princess by Mud Route) was the big favorite, Afleet Again (Afleet Alex - Lucky Again by Wild Again) received a little attention at 7-1. The early pace was made by Flying Son (Flying Chevron - Prudencia by Lord At Law) and Honoring Donald (Birdstone - On Your Honor by Louis Quatorze), but they lasted just a half. Shellback took over at that point, with Afleet Again moving up. But, Gosmon (More Than Ready - Tables Turned by Petionville) came up the rail to challeng Shellback. Those two battled to the wire, with Gosmon prevailing by a neck. Afleet Alex was 4 lengths behind these in third. Watch the Replay.
