Anchorage makes the Hard Call

Molly Molly Molly (Malibu Moon - Lizzie R by Cozzene) was scratched. Pleasant Fever (Pleasant Tap - National Fever by Deputy Minister) was favored at even money. Hard Call (Rock Hard Ten - Call Me Up by Miner's Mark) was 9-2. She reared in the paddock, but settled down quickly. Pleasant Fever was on her toes. Ann (Successful Appeal - Mare Ann by Aloma's Ruler) was warming up nicely. Ann and Anchorage (Tapit - Cross Your Heart by Miswaki) went for the early lead, but Anchorage used her rail spot to get it. Hard Call took third. Hard Call made a move on the outside and went after Anchorage. She was green in the stretch, and couldn't make up any ground, as Anchorage was able to score an easy victory. However, Hard Call was 3 lengths in front of the rest, despite running all over the track. Watch the Replay.
