Stakes Result

Moment of Majesty (filly; Saint Liam - Lady Indy by A. P. Indy) made a move on the outside to get into contention in the Princess Elizabeth Stakes, but couldn't sustain her bid and finished 5th. Roan Inish, who was a maiden coming into the race, made an impressive move up the rail to get the victory. Read more about the Princess Elizabeth Stakes here.

Afleet Again is Lucky Number 13

Laus Deo (Medaglia d'Oro - Shebane by Alysheba) was favored, but Afleet Again (Afleet Alex - Lucky Again by Wild Again) was getting some action as well. He's a pretty gray, with an unimpressive tail. Roman Bay (Roman Ruler - East Bay by Stormin Fever) looked good in the paddock, as did the favorite. Tap Night (Pleasant Tap - Day Mate by Dayjur) was acting up as they headed out to the track. It was a pretty fair break, with Laus Deo going to the front. Honoring Donald (Birdstone - On Your Honor by Louis Quatorze) was in second, and Afleet Again was in third. Roman Bay (Roman Ruler - East Bay by Stormin Fever) was up close too, and he went after Laus Deo on the inside. Then, Afleet Again made his move on the outside. Laus Deo and Afleet Again began to separate from the rest. They were even for awhile, exchanging bumps, but then Afleet Again moved on by. He drew off to win by 3, becoming winner number 13 for Afleet Alex. Watch the Replay.
