Sweet Kitten Keeps Rolling
The track was sloppy and the weather was nasty at Camarero. Sweet Kitten (Kitten's Joy - Sweet Kassidy by Saint Ballado) sat off the early pace set by Robbery Cat (Cat Thief - Swing City by Carson City), moved even on the turn, and then rolled on by. The margin was such that the camera switched to show the battle for place between Robbery Cat and Home Serena (Came Home - Vevina by Rahy), in which Robbery Cat prevailed. Cuqui's Love (Afleet Alex - Chilukki Cat by Storm Cat) was fourth. Sweet Kitten just keeps beating up on the same horses. She may need to journey to the mainland for some competition. Karen Sue's Kitten (Kitten's Joy - Citiscape by Citidancer) makes her first start, Native Kitten (Kitten's Joy - Native Belle by Forestry) her third, and Zori's Eye (Rock Hard Ten - Congratulations by Mercedes Won) her fifth.

Native Belle is a half-sister to 3 winners, including turf stakes winner Happiness Is. Kitten's Joy's 35 runners have made 112 starts, recording 22 wins, 18 seconds, 17 thirds, and $942,972 (not including Sweet Kitten's latest win).
