Buddy's Saint (Saint Liam - Tuzia by Blushing John) inhaled pacesetters Citrus Kid and Homeboykris in the Remsen Stakes (gr. II) at Aqueduct and cruised to a 4 3/4 length win. You'll read that the time wasn't impressive and that he had a perfect setup, but he was loafing pretty good after making the lead, so we'll see. His trainer, Bruce Levine, said on HRTV that Buddy's Saint is off to Florida now. Watch the Replay. Read more about the Remsen here.

William's Kitten (Kitten's Joy - Blush by Menifee) came running wide again, but he couldn't catch Super Saver (Maria's Mon - Supercharger by A. P. Indy) in the Kentucky Jockey Club Stakes (gr. II) at Churchill Downs. However, he was more than 4 lengths in front of the rest of them. Watch the Replay.

Miss Afleet Alex (Afleet Alex - Go Again Valid by Valid Appeal) was on the scene late to finish 4th in the Demoiselle (gr. II) at Aqueduct. Profiteroles (Afleet Alex - Rietondale by Dynaformer) didn't show much, finishing 7th (last). The winner was Tizahit (Tiznow - Never a No Hitter by Kris S.). Watch the Replay. Read more about the Demoiselle here.

Doubling Down

Lentenor (Dynaformer - La Ville Rouge by Carson City) was scratched, running at Aqueduct instead. This allowed AE Bascom Hall (Mizzen Mast - Victorian Woman by Jeblar) to run. Lonesome Street (Broken Vow - Street Cat by Storm Cat) was favored. Doubles Partner (Rock Hard Ten - Serena's Sister by Rahy) was pretty much ignored at 15-1. 90-1 Van Goal (Van Nistelrooy - Cissy Blair by Dallasite) set the early pace, with Lonesome Street keeping him company. Doubles Partner was back in 10th. In the stretch, Outlaw Man (Forest Wildcat - Pier Sixty Six by Cozzene) hit the lead, but he was drifting badly and cut off Bigshot (Limehouse - Regal Snicker by Regal Classic), who was forced into the hedge. Meanwhile, Doubles Partner was moving. Doubles Partner and Outlaw Man battled to the wire, with Doubles Partner getting his head in front late. Outlaw Man was disqualified for his antics and placed fourth. Doubles Partner, who paid a generous $32.40, is winner number 7 for Rock Hard Ten. Watch the Replay.

Chilling the Champagne

Saintly Ways (Saint Liam - Visual Art by Deputy Minister) was part of a favored entry with Champagne Lady (Empire Maker - Kelly Pond by Deputy Minister). They went off at 2-1. Absinthe Minded (Quiet American - Rockford Peach by Great Above) looked good as they headed to the track. Saintly Ways looked a tad nervous. Hurricanette (Najran - King's Raemali by Dehere) warmed up well. There was a huge scramble for the lead. Saintly Ways was part of it, but it was Absinthe Minded who got to the front. Snuggs and Kisses (Soto - With a Splash by Baron O'Dublin) secured the second spot. Saintly Ways was in fourth early on. Absinthe Minded continued to lead into the stretch, when Maestro Miss (Bernstein - Changeable by Miswaki) went on by. But, Champagne Lady, who was reserved early on, was coming. Launching is Unprecedented

The entry of Precipice Trail (Giant's Causeway - Manoa by Seeking the Gold) and World Record (Awesome Again - Finder's Fee by Storm Cat) was favored. Unprecedented (Saint Liam - Desert View (GB) by Sadler's Wells), part of an entry with Launch N Relaunch (Harlan's Holiday - So Re So by Relaunch), was 5-1. Unprecedented looked good in the post parade, as did Don Cavallo (El Prado (IRE) - Transcendental by Mt. Livermore). Unprecedented hesitated slightly at the break. D'oro Dancer (Medaglia d'Oro - Cat Dancer by Storm Cat) went to the front, pursued by Hudson Landing (Maria's Mon - Morning Star by Shotiche). Don Cavallo and World Record weren't far off the pace. In the stretch D'oro Dancer tired, and Hudson Landing took the lead. World Record made a bit of a move, but couldn't sustain it. Flying from the back of the pack was Launch N Relaunch, who went by everybody for the win. Unprecedented was in among horses for most of the race and finished 6th. Watch the Replay.

On Vacation with an Upgrade

Major Momentum (Speightstown - Major Wager by Valid Wager) was the only scratch from the main body of the race. This allowed Where Is'em (King Cugat - Watch Rachel by Inciderator) to enter. The Turf was rated good. Imaging (Dynaformer - Gaze by Danzig), last seen finishing 2nd in the Vision Stakes, was favored. Upgrade (Saint Liam - Emily Ring by Fit to Fight) was 52-1. One Sky (Orientate - Southern Letters by Capote) looked good in the paddock. Remittance (Unforgettable Maz - Wife's Objection by Slewpy) got a strong warm-up. Lentenor (Dynaformer - La Ville Rouge by Carson City) bobbled at the break, and Quiescent Hit (Smart Strike - Traci Girl by Quiet American) went to the lead. Upgrade broke slowly and was at the back. One Sky pressed the early pace, while Remittance and On Vacation (Harlan's Holiday - Royal Trips by Summer Squall) were sitting just off the pace. Quiescent Hit gave way in the stretch, and On Vacation took over. Lentenor made a run at him, but came up a half of a length short. Upgrade didn't run much, beating only the early pacesetter Quiescent Hit. Watch the Replay.

Ithinkihadthatone (War Chant - Champagne Forever by Caveat) was scratched. Brave as a Lion (Lion Hearted - Smartly by Horatius) was favored, but Tenacious Traci (Rock Hard Ten - Treize by Alysheba) took early money. She was 3-1 at one point, before going off at 10-1. Tough Talkin Lady (Oratory - Bold Questor by Norquestor) went to the lead, but Naseeb (Belong to Me - Just for You by Silver Deputy) went right with her.
