Sixtysix Too Much for Savona

Sixtysix Margaux (Yes It's True - Sixtyone Margaux by Cozzene) was heavily favored, opening at 1-9 and going off at 2-5. She looked good in the paddock. Savona (Afleet Alex - Andora Springs by Capote) was 15-1. Most of the field sported higher odds. Traci's Thunder (Thunder Gulch - Traci's Wild by Langfuhr) looked good in the post parade. The load was pretty smooth and the break pretty even, but Savona was at the back from the start. Missnorasdouble (Double Honor - Z. Flash Gun by Beaudelaire) took a brief lead, but she was soon passed by the favorite. Sixtysix Margaux extended her lead through the stretch, and cruised to a 5 3/4 length victory. Traci's Thunder was clearly best of the rest of them, a good 5 lengths in front of the rest of the field. Savona didn't run much, passing one to finish 11th. Watch the Replay.

The Luck is More than Part Time

So Divine (In Excess (IRE) - Greeley Creek by Mr. Greeley) was the slight favorite over Shes Amartinilover (Richly Blended - Martinis Atmidnite by Dynaformer). Saint Spirit (Saint Liam - Unbridled Spirit by Unbridled's Song) was 13-1. Park Time Luck (Northern Afleet - Park Avenue Lady by Avenue of Flags) looked good in the warm-up. Woke Up Lovin (Woke Up Dreamin - Beloved by Wild Again) had some spring in her step. Saint Spirit reared as they tried to load her. They finally got her in with a shove behind. She bumped with Valari (Champali - Varus by Vicar) at the start. Mames' Game (Chapel Royal - Current Encounter by Little Current) took the early lead, with Park Time Luck pressing. Park Time Luck moved by Mames' Game and kept right on going, winning by better than 4. There was a big scramble for second, with Brookieoftheyear (Purge - Petite Charme by Silver Charm) taking it by a nose. Saint Spirit raced wide and tired, finishing 9th (last).

I've always loved Rock Hard Ten, and I've got to say, his progeny

are winning a lot of races this month.  I'm happy that as a sire he's proving that he's just as great as he was on the track.

Beside that I'll be rooting for

Roll'n Rock..(Rolling Rock beer...

formerly a Penna brew).

Enjoy reading this feature very much. Only addition I would make is to put 'x fastest of y' next to each work. Keep up the great work.

Rock Hard Ten Groupie

I love ROck Hard Ten.  As I figured it would take them a bit longer to mature, just like their daddy.  He was a handful himself as a youngster, not matured and wasnt raced until 3.  I had 5 across the board watching Doubles Partner win.  First baby of his i got to see run in person and took several pics of him in the paddock.  Looked awesome.

one maiden winner that was extremely impressive was launch N relaunch who got off slowly tailed throut the race till the stretch then he came barreling down the stretch at the big A a race before lentenor ran second to another harlan's holiday colt on vacation. since Harlan's Holiday sired both launch N relaunch and On Vacation.
