Seattle Zip has She Power

It was raining at Calder, and the race was taken off the turf and run on the sloppy main track. Bail Out Mom (Honour and Glory - Notsingingtheblues by Grand Slam), Creole Princess (Bernstein - Appealing Line by Line In The Sand), and Sky High Hatty (Sky Mesa - Min Elreeh by Danzig) were scratched, which allowed She Power (Afleet Alex - Boogie Beach Blues by Cure the Blues) to draw into the race. However, she might as well have stayed in the barn. She was off slowly and trailed for most of the race, before passing one. Up front, it was Seattle Zip (City Zip - Seattle Showers by Seattle Slew) setting the pace. She was quickly several lengths in front of the rest. Precious Lady (Songandaprayer - Sisters Creek by Pentelicus) took a run at her, but Seattle Zip was able to stay in front, winning by a neck. Also finishing well was Measure the Dance (Richter Scale - Miss Dancin Diablo by Diablo), who finished 3rd. Watch the Replay.

I meant to make a comment the last time you brought up Cheaper to Settle.  What an excellant choice of name, based on her sire, Closing Argument and her dam, Mud Wrestling! I do matrimonial law and I LOVE this name.  Here's hoping the longer race will give him more room to win his case.
