The Beginning of an Indian Legend

The track was fast and there were no scratches. Officer Big Red (Officer - Shocktics by Tactical Advantage) was favored. All About Alex (Afleet Alex - California Sunset by Deputy Minister) wsa 10-1, but he looked good in the paddock. Not for Dixieland (Not For Love - Dixie Flag by Dixieland Band) made a good impression in the post parade. Stoic Angel (Fusaichi Pegasus - Stoic by Forestry) and Cora Bella (Hennessy - Blissful Kiss by Kissin Kris) dueled early. All About Alex was near the back. Brilliant Sunshine (Smarty Jones - Tomorrows Sunshine by Silver Deputy), who was never far off the pace, hit the front in the stretch, but first-timer Indian Legend (Cherokee Run - Virginia Bee by Virginia Rapids) was coming on the outside. She took the lead and kept on going, winning by 4 easy lengths. All About Alex beat one to finish 8th. Watch the Replay.
