Kan has a Klear Way over Saintly

The turf was good and only the AEs were scratched from the race. First-timer Kan N Klear (Kafwain - Clearandconcise by Hansel) took the early money, but Saintly Ways (Saint Liam - Visual Art by Deputy Minister) was favored at post time. It was windy at Tampa Bay, and a number of the fillies were acting up on the racetrack. Count the Change (Exchange Rate - Countess Kelly by Kipper Kelly) warmed up nicely, Saintly Ways looked good. The break was pretty fair, although Bursting Out (Outofthebox - Bursting Up by Tilt Up) was off slowly. Academy Allie (Royal Academy - Danzig Tiger by Danzig Connection) went to the lead, with Let Coyote Run (True Enough - Urban Lass by Cryptoclearance) and Count the Change chasing. Saintly Ways was sitting off the speed in 4th. Academy Allie continued to lead with Count the Change following, as Let Coyote Run dropped back. Kan N Klear made her move at this point, hitting the lead and pulling away. Closing late for second was Belle Breeze (Powerscourt (GB) - Le Grand Belle by With Approval), who looked good at the finish. Saintly Ways was a non-threatening third. Watch the Replay.

It was kind of a strange race for Shrimp Dancer (colt; Kitten's Joy - Formal Dancer by Formal Gold) in his Allowance race at Aqueduct. He was about mid-pack early on, was shuffled back to last, and then came running late. He could not, however, catch longshot pacesetter Most Happy Fella (Ecton Park - Doyenne by Deputy Minister), and had to settle for second. Watch the Replay.

Bishop's Head (colt; Saint Liam - Blue Sky Princess by Conquistador Cielo) was no threat to a runaway winner in his Maiden Claiming race at Laurel, but he was "best of the rest," finishing second. Watch the Replay.

Maddie's Odyssey (filly; Kitten's Joy - Personal Odyssey by Lemon Drop Kid) finished 3rd in her Claiming race at Gulfstream, but gained second when the second-place horse was disqualified and placed last. Watch the Replay.

I hope Dreaming Blue or Colizeo wins.

Would anyone happen to know of Octave (Unbridled's Song) and Folklore (Tiznow) have any live foals? I know it is off topic from the blog, I haven't been able to find any reports or progeny from them. They were personal favorites of mine when they raced. Thanks so much :) I appreciate any info :)

Thanks so much!

Personally I think Unprecidented has the breeding, the dosage, the trainer, the jockey and just enough trouble in his first start to take this (maybe at a price)and then many more this year...

Yea I've been watching him and Yea I've already bet him..Now we wait.

Since its been brought up.  I think a blog would be awesome to mention famous mares' foals that are of racing age in a blog as well.  We have seen SUCH an increase in filly and mare interest due to the better horses we get to see run of the female gender, it would be nice to include some of them to follow in a blog as well.  Would be simpler as there are only a few of racing age at any given time to follow.  I would love to know where Storm Flag Flying's, Azeri, Ashado, Personal Ensign, Halfbridled's, etc. are and how they are running...
