Spare Me Ten Knocks Down Sheltowee

There were no scratches, and the track was fast. Sheltowee (Saint Liam - Crafty Oak by Crafty Prospector) took most of the bettors' money, going off at less than even-money. He looked good strolling around the paddock. Also making a favorable impression was Spare Me Ten (Tenpins - Alphacat by Tabasco Cat), who had finished behind Sheltowee twice. Racin Mason (Wild Gold - Dustee Bottle by Northern Wolf) stumbled at the break. Patricks Bluffing (Pine Bluff - Caitlins Dancer by Subordination) went to the lead, pursued by Spare Me Ten. Sheltowee took his accustomed spot at the back of the pack. Patricks Bluffing and Spare Me Ten continued to battle up front, putting some distance between themselves and the rest. Storm Lake (Quaker Ridge - Stop Stalling by Stalwart) and Sheltowee both began to move. Spare Me Ten took control in the stretch, as Patricks Bluffing began to fade. Neither Storm Lake nor Sheltowee could get to Spare Me Ten, who took the victory by a half-length. Storm Lake outfinished Sheltowee for place by a neck. Sheltowee runs another good race at Hawthorne, but lacks that final punch. Watch the Replay.

With Kris S being responsible for such big impressive horses as Rock Hard Ten and Zenyatta, how does K's Revenge match up with those imposing horses? It looks interesting
