Eze Does It (gelding; Afleet Alex - Eze by Williamstown) battled to the wire to break his Maiden in race 1 at Santa Anita, a 5.5 furlong Maiden Claiming race. Watch the Replay.

Marvelous Monkey (filly; Saint Liam - Liberty Flag by Kingmambo) rallied in the stretch of her Maiden Claiming race at River Downs, and got the victory. 

Patti's Kitten (colt; Kitten's Joy - Hillary Step by Chimes Band) and Looks Purrrfect (colt; Kitten's Joy - On Broadway by Rubiano) finished 2nd and 3rd in their 1 1/8 mile Allowance on the Keeneland turf. Watch the Replay.

Hard Way Ten (filly; Rock Hard Ten - Youcan'ttakeme by He's Tops) couldn't catch the pacesetter in her Allowance race on turf at Santa Anita, but did hold second. Watch the Replay.

Ophiuchus (filly; Afleet Alex - Nymphenburg by San Romano) made up some ground to finish 4th in her debut in race 9 at Woodbine, a 6.5 furlong Maiden Special Weight.

Seeking the Ghost (filly; Ghostzapper - Questress by Seeking the Gold) dueled early in her Maiden Claiming race at Gulfstream, but tired and finished 5th. Watch the Replay.

Blue Fantasy (filly; Ghostzapper - Indy Queen by A. P. Indy) stumbled in her debut at 5 furlongs at Gulfstream Park and finished 7th. This Maiden Special Weight was originally scheduled for the turf, but was run on the sloppy main track. Watch the Replay.

Since none of our 2-year-olds are running on April 21, I'll look at the debut of 3-year-old Fantasma (Ghostzapper - Cindy's Hero by Sea Hero) in the 9th at Keeneland. Fantasma has been working at Payson Park, including 5 furlongs in 1:02.60 on April 14. Fantasma sold for $350,000 as a yearling, and is out of grade I winner Cindy's Hero. Cindy's Hero earned $371,975, and has produced 2 winners. Both of Fantasma's winning siblings won their debuts. Cindy's Hero is a half sister to 3 winners, including grade I winner Fourty Niners Son.
