May 16 Three-Year-Old Results

Spicer (colt; Ghostzapper - Allspice by Coronado's Quest) won his Maiden Special Weight at Churchill Downs by an impressive 7 1/2 lengths. Seruni (colt; Saint Liam - Lady Melesi by Colonial Affair) made up some ground to finish 4th. Watch the Replay.

Hot Kitten (filly; Kitten's Joy - Tabby Cat by Tabasco Cat) broke her maiden in race 5 at Arlington Park, a mile Maiden Claiming race. She sat off the early pace, and then made a steady advance, catching the leader late for a 1 1/2 length win. Watch the Replay.

Painted Kitten (gelding; Kitten's Joy - Painted Pink by Conquistador Cielo) broke his maiden in race 8 at River Downs, a 6 furlong Maiden Claiming race. He took the lead from the start, and withstood all pressure for a 3/4 length victory.

St Liams Halo (colt; Saint Liam - Foolishly by Broad Brush) made a big move to engage the pacesetter in race 8 at Arlington Park, a Maiden Special Weight on yielding turf, but he couldn't get that final push and finished second. Watch the Replay.

Ghost Shopper (colt; Ghostzapper - Shop Till You Drop by Thunder Gulch) was no match for a runaway 7 length winner in race 9 at Churchill Downs, a 7 furlong Maiden Special Weight, but he did beat the rest of them, finishing second.
