Looks like an interesting summer with all these long-awaited babies from stellar sires. I always have to ask myself, "What if one of these turns out to be another Bernardini or Saint Liam or Rockport Harbor?" It's a great feeling to watch the sons and daughters of stars we loved writing their own stories into history and etching their names into posterity.

well 2007 three sons of a p indy entered stud. bernardini, suave and a p  warrior. but suave beat the other two in siring the first winner out of the bunch when his first winner won at lone star yesterday. which is surprising that a p warrior didn't have the first winner because of him getting good at late 2yr old season and lasted till his retirement

Does anyone know what has become of Megahertz's first baby by Giants Causeway? Also, she was booked to Bernardini in 2007. If she had that foal, he or she would be 2 this year. She was such a cute little thing. Would love an update on her and other mares like Ventura (don't remember reading who they were booking her to), Wait A While, Ginger Punch, Round Pond, Riskaverse (remember her?)Hysterical Lady et al.

gailg - Megahertz's first foal, the 3-year-old colt Causeithertz, has run once, finishing 6th in a 6f race on the turf at Hollywood Park on May 9. He's had a couple of works at Hollywood since then.

Her 2008 Bernardini filly is named Littlegreatone. She has no official works as yet.

I think we need to light a fire under my Rock Hard Ten babies.  Why do I suspect they may become better at 4?  The colts really seem to be struggling, and one of my favorites, New Madrid doesn't appear to enjoy the distance....or the turf, while Doubles Partner and Hard Way Ten excel on the turf.  I'll keep watching...there are some gems in the brood.

Slew - well, New Madrid runs in a nice allowance at Belmont today (race 4) that should tell us more about him.

Slew - well, nothing from New Madrid. Maybe Rock Hard Ten's 2nd crop will be better than the first, nice debut winning 2yo filly at Prairie Meadows today, Hard Seven.

Any information on Vertigineux's foal this year ?  I saw a small bit on Zenyatta's wiki page that Vertigineux's foal from Henrythenavigator is due this year.

Oh well...I seem to remember that Rock Hard Ten was a very late bloomer, and didn't really start his rise until late in his 3 year old year, then soared as a 4 year old.  We just may have to give his babies more time.  His fillies have been great.  It's his colts that worry me. :-(

Thanks!!  I was pretty sure BH would have info on it but couldn't find it using the search on the home page.  Much appreciated!
