Three-Year-Old Stakes Result

Go Ask Alex (filly; Afleet Alex - Dominique's Joy by Strawberry Road (AUS)) set the pace in the Lake George Stakes (gr. II), but she never got a breather and tired, finishing 11th. Dynazaper (filly; Ghostzapper - Broad Dynamite by Broad Brush) was in a good spot, but lacked punch and finished 6th. Sometimes, it takes me a long time to come up with the tags, sometimes they just write themselves. I remember a race last year where every horse had a double entendre name. I think I asked readers to make up their own.

Peb Hughes was fairly solid, got his 4th 1/4 in 24, Henny can definitely get some nice turf horses, although they may prefer to sprint like their Dad...

It will be interesting to see where Pletcher points Sky Hosoya next. I'm sure that race will come back a nice number, but it's questionable whether anyone else in there was stakes class.
