News and Notes

I hope that everyone had a good Breeders' Cup. I cashed only one ticket the whole two days. Fortunately, it was a $4 win ticket on Afleet Again in the Marathon, who paid $85.20 So, I am not going to complain. I am about recovered from my Breeders' Cup hangover. No sleep and living on coffee catches up with one after awhile. I will use this blog to catch up on all the results missed, and also to preview a race for tomorrow.

Don from PA/DE

Ah Chris "What might have been" was the mantra on BC day for me, I did pretty well, but the big kahuna would have been "Turallure"..I was all over this one, despite the bad #13 post, and thought was a winner at the wire..this is the best turf horse right now...so my double/pick-3 and pick-4 were nil, if T won they were a lock!  Good to hear you had Afleet Again, think he is local PARX horse, I had ALL in DD and pick-3 but didn't single..good old Afleet Alex offspring continue to win..Don

PS: at PARX that day, my heart was with Harbor Kid in 8th, but brain picked #1 winner, gave me pick-4, HK was nice second. Other favorites didn't fire...

Don - I had Turallure too. I was watching him the whole way and thought he had it. I couldn't believe that I beat Goldikova and got beat by Court Vision. And then, ESPN kept showing the photo over and over and over.
