Marvelous Maven (Pioneering - Mensa Madam by Beau Genius) took early money, but Run for Love (Corinthian - Lily's Affair by Colonial Affair) was the heavy favorite when they went in the gate. She looked good in the post parade. Debuting Teton Vista (Superfly - Kentucky Wonder by Fly So Free) made a favorable impression on the track. Run for Love broke on top. Lady Lua (Cat Thief - Onemiracleatatime by Gulch) was her closest pursuer. Marvelous Maven, Shomeurteeth (Lion Heart - Double Faced by More Than Ready), and Solar Siren (Prime Meridian - Solar Annie by Sejm) were chasing.
