Electromagnetic (colt; Henrythenavigator - Wind in My Wings by Sligo Bay (IRE)) worked 3 furlongs in :36.64 at Palm Meadows on March 31. He was purchased for $90,000 as a yearling, and is the first foal out of stakes winner Wind in My Wings, who earned $135,183. Wind in My Wings is a half sister to 2 winners.

Love Tractor (filly; The Green Monkey - Soft as Velvet by Run Softly) worked 3 furlongs in 38.80 at Keeneland on March 31. She is the first foal out of the winning mare Soft as Velvet, who is a half sister to one winner. Love Tractor is our first worker for The Green Monkey.

Zo Impressive (filly; Hard Spun - Zoftig by Cozzene) was no match for Grace Hall (Empire Maker - Season's Greeting (IRE) by Ezzoud (IRE)) in the Gulfstream Oaks (gr. Bella's Fantasy (filly; Hard Spun - Fantasy Lake by Salt Lake) finished 4th in the Santa Anita Oaks (gr. I). Willa B Awesome (Awesome Gambler - Cause I'm Tricky by Nineeleven) just caught Reneesgotzip (City Zip - No Dress Code by Distorted Humor) for the win. Watch the Replay. May have been too much too soon, or maybe she is a sprinter. Believe You Can (Proud Citizen - El Fasto by El Prado (IRE)) held off Summer Applause (Harlan's Holiday - Summer Exhibition by Royal Academy) for the win. Spin Out (Hard Spun - Island Queen by Ogygian), Easter Gift (Hard Spun - Angel Gift by Allen's Prospect), Bulldog Legend (Discreet Cat - Princess Birdeye by Indian Charlie), Favorite Patriot (Congrats - Bouvet by Touch Gold), and Doctor Chit (War Front - True Gritz by Yes It's True) were scratched. Ez Effort (In Excess (IRE) - French Debutante by French Deputy) was favored, and Street Thug (Street Sense - Richbabe by Richman) was almost 6-1. War Won (Henny Hughes - Making Up by Lear Fan) stumbled at the start, Eek (Mr. Greeley - Torrid Affair by Alydeed) was off slowly, and North Ocean (Street Cry (IRE) - Beautiful Pleasure by Maudlin) hesitated at the start. Street Thug broke running, and went right to the front. But, Ez Effort was there as well. These two dueled into the stretch, when Ez Effort pulled away for an easy 8 length win. Street Thug had no response for the winner, but he was secure in second, for a promising debut. Coming on to pickup third was first-timer Scout's Honor (Tapit - Kidder Done by Thunder Gulch). Miss Pippa (Master Command - Scootin' Girl by Dumaani) was scratched, leaving 11 on the firm turf. Miss Communication (Langfuhr - Queen of Humor by Distorted Humor) was the 2-1 choice. Light of Life (Corinthian - Touch of Splendor by Charismatic) was 28-1, and English Puddin (English Channel - Go for Puddin by Go for Gin) was 54-1. Favorite Miss Communication set the early pace, with Flashy Dame (Afleet Alex - My Silver Girl by Silver Deputy) her closest pursuer. Light of Life was in a good stalking spot. English Puddin was at the back and rank. She blew the turn, and took Demonsterous (Leroidesanimaux (BRZ) - Songthrush by Unbridled's Song) with her. Miss Communication, Flashy Dame, and Light of Life continued 1-2-3 into the stretch. Lady Ten (Rock Hard Ten - Mismonique by French Deputy) was sticking close, and Bobina (Malibu Moon - Maliziosa by Dynaformer) was starting to get involved. She was out in the middle of the track, but finishing well, and went on by for a 2 1/4 length win.
