Hedging the Win

All six ran on the Tapeta. Coastal Sunrise (Congrats - Kisses and Hugs by Kissin Kris) was favored. Blazing Bling (Too Much Bling - Cruise Liner by Salt Lake) and Unhedged (Broken Vow - Smart Wildcat by Smart Strike) were also well respected. Moonshot Monkey (The Green Monkey - Moonstriker by Smart Strike) was 51-1. Blazing Bling broke on top, but was passed by Coastal Sunrise and Unflinching (Straight Man - Lucky Cassie by Carnivalay). Moonshot Monkey was in a good spot on the rail, not far off the leaders. Coastal Sunrise continued to show the way, chased by Unflinching and Blazing Bling. Unhedged was beginning to mount a rally from the back of the pack. She sailed on by the front runners, and went on to register a 3 1/4 length win. Unfliching took second over Blazing Bling, with Coastal Sunrise tiring to 4th, followed by Miso Bad (Irish Road - Miso Pretty by Forest Wildcat) and Moonshot Monkey. Watch the Replay.
