All 10 ran, and the track was fast. Hung the Moon (Malibu Moon - Storm Breaking by Storm Cat) was favored. Jias Curls (Curlin - Spectacular Day by Carson City) was 64-1. The start was good. Sitara (Point Given - November Snow by Storm Cat) broke on top, with She's Got Swag (Student Council - Frigidette by It's Freezing) right with her. She's Got Swag took advantage of her inside post to take the lead over Sitara. These two were followed by Jias Curls, Mary Bernice (Bernardini - Coronation Cup by Chief's Crown), and Alli Leigh (Student Council - Allison P. by Unbridled). She's Got Swag and Sitara continued 1-2, and began to separate from the others. Alli Leigh moved closer, and Marathon Lady (Graeme Hall - Abuela Esther (URU) by Crater (ARG)) was starting to roll. Making progress from the back was Hung the Moon. She's Got Swag led them into the stretch, but Hung the Moon swept by on the outside for a 1 1/4 length win. Marathon Lady stuck her head in front of She's Got Swag late to take second, with Mary Bernice (Bernardini - Coronation Cup by Chief's Crown) back in fourth. Jias Curls stopped after her early involvement, finishing 10th (last). Watch the Replay.
