Bellarmine's Seals the Win

All twelve ran on the Polytrack. Apex (Dynaformer - Enth by Seeking the Gold) was favored, and Bellarmine (Magna Graduate - Aly Capri by Alydar) was also well-regarded. Won'tualwayswonder (Midnight Lute - Bountempo by Cape Town) was 8-1, and made a decent appearance. I was liking Steel Dust Dancer (Unbridled's Song - Rubywood by Woodman). The start was good. Overwhelming (Hard Spun - Oh What a Windfall by Seeking the Gold) and Jet Force (Candy Ride (ARG) - Seeking Results by Seeking the Gold) were among the first to show. But, it was longshot Seal Team Four (Flatter - Bundling by Believe It) who went on to set the pace. Jet Force was still there, and Won'tualwayswonder was up close as well. Apex put in an appearance, and Bellarmine (Magna Graduate - Aly Capri by Alydar) moved up on the inside. But, Seal Team Four continued to lead. He was still in front as they entered the stretch, but Bellarmine was coming. He wore down the frontrunner, and went on to post a 2-length win. Seal Team Four held second over a closing Corinthian Summer (Corinthian - Mississippi Madam by Smoke Glacken) and Steel Dust Dancer was fourth. Won'tualwayswonder tired after being close early, finishing 9th. Watch the Replay.

Mr. Right Winner

There were no scratches, and the track was muddy. Four-year-old Mr. Right (Tapit - Free Spin by Olympio) was favored. All That (Big Brown - Miss Forest City by Coronado's Quest) was 9-1, but looked good on the track. Able Baker Charlie (Indian Charlie - Plaid by Deputy Commander) came out a little slow, the others were away well. All That broke on top, but Mr. Right and Inchcape (Indian Charlie - Cottage Link by Seeking the Gold) came through on the inside to set the pace. All That, One Man One Vote (Pulpit - Referendum by Unbridled), and Bad Hombre (Sky Mesa - A Little Evil by Deputy Minister) were in pursuit. Mr. Right spurted free from the others, with Bad Hombre and All That chasing him home. At the wire, it was Mr. Right by a length over Bad Hombre, who was 1 3/4 lengths better than All That, who turned in a promising debut. Watch the Replay.

I would like to say I think Bob Baffert is one of the most caring trainers I have watched with his horses. That's why I'd like to offer a thought why his stable barn could be having problems  I believe it just is something in the horses strength but perhaps take a look under his barn wood floors for mold which can cause bacteria and bacterial endocarditis could evolve an inflammation of the endocardium of the heart. It's just thought. I hate to see any of the veteran trainers worry. They have given us so much enjoyment at the rail!
