E Equalsmcsquared (Einstein (BRZ) - Prairie Spring by Conquistador Cielo) is the first entrant for first-year sire Einstein, running 4.5 furlongs on the Cushion Track at Hollywood Park. Grade I winner Einstein earned $2,945,238 in 30 starts. He did not run at 2, but was a winner in his second start at 3. E Equalsmcsquared has been working at Turf Paradise for several months. Most recently, she went 5 furlongs in :58.40 on April 27. E Equalsmcsquared was purchased for $7,000 as a yearling, and is out of stakes-placed Prairie Spring, who earned $114,272. Prairie Spring is the dam of the winner At First Asking. Prairie Spring is a half sister to 4 winners. Interestingly, E Equalsmcsquared is the only filly in this race who was not bred in California.

Ninnavee (Suave - Maud by Holy Bull) finished 3rd in her only start, a 4.5 furlong race at Hollywood Park on April 25. She was purchased for $12,000 as a yearling, and is out of Maud, who was placed at 2 and 3. Maud has produced 7 winners from 7 to run. Two of her offspring won at 2. Maud is a half sister to 5 winners, including stakes winner Herb E, and grade III stakes-placed Tarquinius. 

Tom Kha (Northern Afleet - Edamame by Bold Executive) has also run once, finishing 9th in at 4.5 furlong race at Hollywood Park on April 26. She sold for $19,000 as a yearling, and for $35,000 as a 2-year-old. She is the first foal out of stakes-placed Edamame, who earned $193,687 and was a winner at 2. Her dam is the winner Native Geisha.

The others are unraced, including Patty Wack (Bushwacker - Greenapplegal by Distant View) and Hot Little Thang (Bushwacker - Mamas Flyin by Rio Verde), who are both by first-crop sire Bushwacker. Bushwacker's 5 runners have each made one start without placing. Grade III winner Bushwacker was a debut winner at 2, and earned $285,840 in his career. Patty Wack is out of the winning mare Greenapplegal, who earned $102,150. Greenapplegal is the dam of the winner Kalik Your Heels, and is a half sister to 6 winners, including stakes winner Pioneer Spirit. Pioneer Spirit earned $190,611 in 39 starts. Hot Little Thang is the first foal out of the unraced mare Mamas Flyin. Mamas Flyin is a half sister to one winner, and a full sister to one winner. Her dam is stakes-placed Air Force Woman,who earned $152,250.

Also by a freshman sire is Time for Angie (Time to Get Even - Amorous Angie by Gold Case), who is the second runner for Time to Get Even. Time to Get Even's first runner, Time for a Hug, was a winner in his only start, a 4.5 furlong race at Hollywood Park on April 26. Grade III winner Time to Get Even earned $150,084 in 16 starts. Time for Angie sold for $9,500 as a yearling, and is the first foal out of the unraced mare Amorous Angie. Amorous Angie is a half sister to the winner Rio Catty.

Snort'n Matilda (Snorter - Lady Matilda (NZ) by Kingdom Bay (NZ)) is out of the winning mare Lady Matilda. Lady Matilda did not run at 2, but was a debut winner at 3. Lady Matilda is a half sister to 5 winners.
