Vallado Outruns My Titania

Chiclet (Dandy Man (IRE) - Springfort (IRE) by Captian Rio (GB)) and Trikala (High Chaparral (IRE) - Thiella by Kingmambo) were scratched. Three D Alexander (Aqlaam (GB) - Pivotal's Princess (IRE) by Pivotal (GB)) was made the favorite. My Titania (Sea The Stars (IRE) - Fairy of The Night (IRE) by Danehill) was respected at 2-1. The ground was good to firm, and it was raining. The start was decent, although My Titania was away a little slowly. Vallado (Clodovil (IRE) - Knapton Hill (GB) by Zamindar) went to the front, with Little Fastnet (Fastnet Rock (AUS) - Damson (IRE) by Entrepreneur (GB)) stalking. Cultured Lady (Art Connoisseur (IRE) - Lady Coquette (SWE) by Mujadil), Greanta (Intense Focus - Greannmhar by Distorted Humor), and Three D Alexander made up a tracking trio. My Titania was at the back. Vallado and Little Fastnet continued 1-2, with Greanta moving closer. My Titania began to make up ground on the outside. Vallado still led, and started a sprint for home, as My Titania claimed second. Vallado rolled home, 2 3/4 lengths in front. Although My Titania could not catch the winner, she was better than 5 lengths in front of the others. It was Little Fastnet holding third, followed by Cultured Lady, Three D Alexander, and Greanta. A nice win for Vallado, and a promising debut for My Titania.
