Just Four to Go for Curly

I have to admit that Precious Beans is one my favorite names among the Medaglia d'Oros. But, a good name only gets you so far, now it's time to see what he can do on the track.
Then, the fun really began in the post parade when Royal Card reared, dumped her rider, and ran off. The outrider made a nice grab to stop her after only one furlong and she stayed in the race.
Curly was devoid of early speed, spending the early part of the race hanging out in the back of pack (strangely enough with Curly Cameli). But, he did make a nice middle move, passing a few before tiring.
Causin' Havoc (colt - Medaglia d'Oro - Degenerate Gal by Degenerate Jon) becomes the first of our first-crop offspring to be entered in a race, as he scheduled to run in Race 2 at Keeneland on April 9th. We'll take a closer look at this race next week.
