Onward and Upward

October 10 was not one of our more successful days, but October 11 brings three more stakes chances, plus a couple of maiden tries.

Staking a Claim

Grade I tries for Maiden Watch Graduates Dublin (Afleet Alex), Stately Victor (Ghostzapper), and Looks Purrrfect (Kitten's Joy), and the Dover Stakes for Kratisto (Afleet Alex) and Quick Ride (Afleet Aflex). Plus, plenty of Maiden action.

A Stately Victory

Stately Victor becomes Ghostzapper's second winner, with a powerful burst on the turf at Saratoga.

Kratisto Headlines the Day

Nine entrants in 6 races for Saturday, highlighted by Kratisto (Afleet Alex) in the Arlington-Washington Futurity.

Saratoga Turf? And Delaware Dirt

Catching up on results from August 3 and 4, and entries for August 4, including Dean's Kitten (Kitten's Joy), Cutter (Saint Liam) and Saint Eligius (Saint Liam) at Saratoga, and William Paley (Afleet Alex) and King Rock (Rock Hard Ten) at Delaware Park.

Sweet Victory

The last time Sweet Kitten (Kitten's Joy) ran, she finished 2nd in an allowance race. I commented that all she needed was to run against maidens. She got that chance on August 2.

William Conquers the Ellis Turf

William's Kitten pulls away at Ellis to become Kitten's Joy's first turf winner, and 3rd winner overall. Also, good showings from King Kitten (Kitten's Joy) and Hazards of Love (Saint Liam). For Friday, five more 2-year olds in action.

In This Life - First Worker for Ghostzapper

First worker for Ghostzaper - In This Life, and a new Kitten's Joy worker, King Kitten. Plus, entries for March 12.
