La Equivocada (Smarty Jones) wins the grade III Alsito Roig Stakes in Puerto Rico to become the first stakes winner for her sire. Also, an impressive maiden score for Pitched Perfectly (Pleasantly Perfect).

Then, the fun really began in the post parade when Royal Card reared, dumped her rider, and ran off. The outrider made a nice grab to stop her after only one furlong and she stayed in the race.
