Fourteen horses in 9 races for November 5. I did my best to cover them all, but came up a little short. Only one recap, Loving Roe Is Easy (Peace Rules), as Saarlight (Saarland) was a scratch.

Cradle of Peace swerved, almost unseating his rider. I thought, uh-oh, here we go again. Plus, Our Golden Dream (Medaglia d'Oro) and Saarlandisourland (Saarland) in the Miss Grillo Stakes (gr. III).

Normansbirdie (Birdstone) and Bedtime Story (Pleasantly Perfect) both went off at 6-1, sat off the early pace and came running in the stretch.

Stone Legacy (Birdstone) went off at 34-1, but the public may have been a bit wrong. Plus, a full day of entries - 8 horses in 6 races.

Nineteen horses in 14 races and not a single scratch. In fact, Mullins Beach (Speightstown) got in off the AE list. The results are below, beginning with the two stakes races (Spinaway and Sapling), then today's winners, and then the rest in chronological order.
