Pick's Express becomes the first U.S. winner for Speightstown. Plus, Rachel Alexandra and Renda have good runs in the Debutante, Results for Birdseye, and S. S. Stone and Speight the Halo entered on June 29.

The Debutante Stakes at Churchill Downs June 28 features two Maiden Watch graduates, Rachel Alexandra (Medaglia d'Oro) and Renda (Medaglia d'Oro), the Landaluce has Trifecta King (Peace Rules). Also entries for Frosty Diamond (Medaglia d'Oro), Pick's Express (Speightstown), and Birdseye (Birdstone).

On track at Saratoga was Smart Woman. Smart Woman is a Smarty Jones' filly out of the winning Storm Cat mare, Storming Beauty. Storming Beauty is a daughter of champion Sky Beauty who earned $1,336,000 and won or placed in 17 graded stakes.

Curly was pushed wide, wide, wider than Big Brown in the Derby (officially 7 wide). Amazingly, Curly kept coming and coming.
