Today, Maiden Watch stops at Delaware Park where Saar Treaty makes her debut. Saar Treaty, who sold for $50,000 as a weanling, is a half-sister to one winner.

A promising beginning for a first-time starter especially since the track was sloppy, hard to predict how horses will react to that kind of surface. Overall, a nice debut for Pleasantly Perfect as a sire.

I have to admit that Precious Beans is one my favorite names among the Medaglia d'Oros. But, a good name only gets you so far, now it's time to see what he can do on the track.

It was all about the girls at Woodbine, as fillies took the first three spots. This is not an uncommon phenomenon in baby races, as fillies, like human girls, mature faster than colts.
