P. J.'s Canary (Birdstone), Rockland (Smarty Jones), and Clash of Arms (Speightstown) came out running to break their maidens in front-running style.

Fourteen horses in 9 races for November 5. I did my best to cover them all, but came up a little short. Only one recap, Loving Roe Is Easy (Peace Rules), as Saarlight (Saarland) was a scratch.

The Pre-Entries for the Breeders' Cup will be announced on October 16, so tomorrow we'll see which Maiden Watch horses will be trying for the big prize. As many of you already know, Mine That Bird will be on the list.
