Sweet Kitten Keeps Rolling

Sweet Kitten keeps rolling in Puerto Rico, and three on the turf at Churchill.

A Dream Run

Liam's Dream (Saint Liam) debuts in style. Plus, the entries are out for the Breeders' Cup and the Kittens are in.

A Moment of Quiet Class

A professional win for Moment of Majesty (Saint Liam) at Woodbine, and an impressive debut for Quiet Class (Kitten's Joy). Plus, another graded win for Sweet Kitten.

A Sweet Stakes Win

Sweet Kitten had faced Robbery Cat twice, and finished 2nd both times. But the third time was the charm, as Sweet Kitten pulled away from heavy favorite Robbery Cat in the Eduardo Cautino Insua Stakes at Camarero to become the first stakes winner for Kitten's Joy.

The Battle Goes to the Quickest

Battle Royal (Saint Liam) goes gate-to-wire at Woodbine, and Quick Ride (Afleet Alex) rallies to victory at Belmont. Sunday finds Cuqui's Love (Afleet Alex) and Sweet Kitten (Kitten's Joy) in the Eduardo Cautino Insua Stakes at Camarero.

Sweet Victory

The last time Sweet Kitten (Kitten's Joy) ran, she finished 2nd in an allowance race. I commented that all she needed was to run against maidens. She got that chance on August 2.

Dublin Delivers

Afleet Alex gets winner number three, as Dublin pulls off a professional victory at Saratoga.

Seconditis

A little case of Seconditis, as all three of our July 15 runners finished second. On the other hand, they collectively defeated 15 opponents (if my math is right). For July 16, 4 more 2-year olds in action.

Wild Wednesday

Wild Lime takes down Cutter (Saint Liam) and Golden Ghost (Ghostzapper) at Delaware Park on July 14. Four horses in three races for July 15: Sweet Kitten (Kitten's Joy) at Camarero, and Tribecky (Saint Liam), Zori's Eye (Rock Hard Ten), and Afleet Maggi (Afleet Alex) at Arlington.

Afleet Maggi is Eavesdropping for Hidden Value

Results for Sweet Kitten (Kitten's Joy) and Recession Proof (Afleet Alex). Entry for Afleet Maggi and some 3-year old stakes. New workers include Deputy Saint (Saint Liam), half-sister to Curlin.

Sweet Kitten is Recession Proof

Results for Batte Royal (Saint Liam) and Dublin (Afleet Alex), and entries for Sweet Kitten (Kitten's Joy) and Recession Proof (Afleet Alex)

Kittens Hit the Board

Sweet Kitten finishes 2nd and Becky's Kitten 3rd, for two more placings for Kitten's Joy.

Kittens from Camarero to Churchill

Three Kitten's Joy's in action, Sweet Ktten at Camarero, and William's Kitten and Becky's Kitten at Churchill. Plus, Maiden Watch on twitter.

A Great Runaway Over Sweet Kitten

Sweet Kitten (Kitten's Joy) couldn't catch Runaway Great at sloppy Camarero (is it raining everywhere?). New worker for Ghostzapper - R Luckyghost.

Sweet Kitten has a Carson Vision to be a Runaway

After the excitement of the Oaks and the Derby, it's back to business as usual at Maiden Watch. Sweet Kitten (Kitten's Joy) is entered at Camarero, and a new worker for Ghostzapper - Stately Victor.
