Not being entered in the Saratoga Special may be because of his last workout - 4 furlongs in :50.04. The reason that he went so slow was because he had to avoid a fallen horse, but his connections may have thought that he wasn't ready for the Saratoga Special since he didn't have a proper work. This is all just speculation on my part, I haven't spoken to anyone connected to the horse.&lt;/p&gt;

S. Stone&amp;#39;s past was only one race, but I agree with you. I thought that he was too close to the pace. Regarding Heir to the Stone, I have not heard anything about an injury.
