&lt;p&gt;She&amp;#39;s #10, but in the early part of the race it&amp;#39;s easier to look for the pink silks and yellow cap. The jockey keeps her forwardly placed on the outside. To me, she looked to have more to give at the end of the race, always a good sign. She&amp;#39;s a well-muscled filly who bears a noticeable resemblance to her sire (photo here: &lt;a rel="nofollow" target="_new" href="http://db.netkeiba.com/?pid=picture&amp;amp;type=o&amp;amp;id=12973"&gt;db.netkeiba.com&lt;/a&gt; )&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;BTW, her dam, Anna Sterz, is a full sister to Boundary, sire of Big Brown.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Another Smarty filly, Smarty Dance (o/o Dance Partner (JPN) by Sunday Silence), debuting at the same racetrack on the same day, did not have the same good result. She finished 12th of 18 in an 1800-m race on turf labeled &amp;quot;good&amp;quot;.&lt;/p&gt;
