Wendyg - Rock Hard Ten is an impressive looking horse and he some very impressive victories including the Santa Anita Handicap. However, his oldest offspring are yearlings this year, so we won't know about their success on the track until next year at the earliest. You can look for his yearlings at the sales this year.

How about Rock Hard Ten? He is amazing. He was in the background as a racehorse, but I believe he did very well. I would love to know what his foals are doing.

Tim - the easiest way to find out more about the Domestic Disputes is to order reports from Bris or Equineline.com. However, that can get costly. Another good source of information is auction catalogs. All the major auction houses have online catalogs available (For example: Fasig-Tipton, Keeneland, and Barretts) For example at the recently concluded Fasig-Tipton Midlantic sale, there were 6 Domestic Disputes, including Hip #279 (Trouble at Home) who's from the same family as gr. I winner Urbane.

Thanks! I signed up on Brisnet alert to at least see when and how they are working, and then of course when they are entered. But that info doesn't come with your behind-the-scenes analysis. So any other tips you can have would be great!

Tim - Selfish reasons are the best reasons to be interested in a particular stallion. I may be adding to the list in the near future (if I can get a poll together to ask who should be added). In the meantime, if you are following Domestic Dispute and want to post about his offspring, that would be great. I'd be happy to give you some pointers on how to keep track of them.

Slew.em.All - Thank you for your comments. We started out watching the offspring of Birdstone, Medaglia d'Oro, Pleasantly Perfect, Smarty Jones, and Speightstown. On March 12th, I asked for other sire recommendations and added Congaree, Peace Rules, and Saarland based on reader's comments. It is impossible to follow every first-year sire in depth. However, we do comment on all offspring by first-year sires in the races we profile.

Domestic Dispute is not on the list of the stallions we are specifically watching (the list is: Birdstone, Congaree, Medaglia d'Oro, Peace Rules, Pleasantly Perfect, Saarland, Smarty Jones, and Speightstown), so I do not know how many of his offspring have worked out. However, I can tell you that none of his offspring have raced yet.
