Nancyb - Overall, Smarty Jones has had 55 starters, 28 winners, 1 stakes winner, and 2 stakes placers.

Although we are not following his 2009 2-year olds, we did happen to catch the impressive debut win of Backdraft, a half-brother to grade II winner Bsharpsonata on June 11. He is expected to make his next start in the Bashford Manor (gr. III) at Churchill Downs on July 3.

Nancy,

One of my favorites(Along with Rockland, Can't wait for his return!), "Ritzy Jones" is racing on July 4th at Philadelphia Park in an Allowance (Race 8). He came in fourth last time out(05/22), Four races, 1 win, 1 second, Hope he does well and stays safe.

Overall, how are the Smarty Jones offspring doing? Doesn't look too great yet but I won't give up on my favorite
