Did you mention that he sired 15 grade 1 winners and 4 Champions ? Large horses with tremendous speed must be managed differently by trainers than Smaller ones with speed. Some cookie cutter pinhookers (not all) didn&#39;t know that and broke some good ones down early before they had a chance. Rather than accepting responsibility, it was easier to label U.S. as producing un sound horses. Speed can Kill if not managed properly. Breeding plodders is not the answer it is a knee jerk reaction.
