hi all is nicanor still working out at fair hill .He has not worked senst jul 11 just checking on our little man.

Please, People! Let's not put a "Hex" on Nicanor, nor Lentenor. They are their own individuals. They will eventually come into their own...not because they are Barbaro's brothers, but for who they are and the training of Mr. Matz who, in my estimation is one of the great trainers, and of course knowing his background. The "babies" are beautiful, as is their "Mum." Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Mr. Matz is not a "hurry up' kind of trainer. Time is in their favor, whether it be as three year olds or four (my personal preferance.) I will just sit back and see what transpires in the future of these two colts.

He is stunning looking, I almost thought I was looking at Barbaro. I could care less if he runs like Barbaro or not, we still have a little piece of Barbaro just looking at him. Stay healthy and live long Nicanor...

I hope I get to see Nicanor some day. I love all of the new photos of him being ridden by Peter. And I am happy that Nicanor mugs for the camera. (If you take a look at all of his photos, including the first ones, he is mugging for the camera.) And whether one calls Nicanor, Nick, Nicky, Nicky Knocks or Nicanor, he is Nicanor; and Nick for short to me.

Wow.....I seem to say that a lot when I see pictures of out little man Nicanor. Thanks for all the information and pictures. I live too far away to be there in body, but I'm there in spirit.

'Nicky Knocks'is Nicanor's stable name that Peter Brett gave him (just like Matz's son gave 'Bobby' to Barbaro). It's the same 'pet' name Peter calls his son, Nicholas.

The 2nd Annual Celebration of Barbaro's life was wonderful and this year it was so good to see Barbaro's little Brother Nicanor. Everyone at Fair Hill on Saturday July 12th yelled Nicanor when Peter rode him by. Nicanor turned to the Camera's like a pro and I clicked off the close up that appears on Nicanor's Wiki Page. We love reading how Nicanor is doing and look forward to his Racing Début this Fall. Go Nicky Knocks.

I wish I could have been there. Barbaro was the one that got me interested in thoroughbred racing.

I followed him on a daily basis.

I live near Colonial Downs and go there quite often. I love the horses and wish them all safety and health.

Can anyone at all tell us how tall Nicanor is now?? He seems to have grown a lot since he arrived at Fair Hill and he is impressive! What a gorgeous boy he is!

I usually don't miss much, but I sure missed this event! I would have been there with bell's on. My new job makes it difficult right now, but I would've found a way!

Nicanor was so calm as a two year old walking in front of all those people. He looked right at them. He knew everyone was there to see him. What a beauty.
