Oak Tree will race at Hollywood in 2010 and 2011. The president of Hollywood has said that Hollwood will race till the end of 2011. After that, nobody knows. I think that you got your dates mixed up. In 2012, Oak Tree will race at Del Mar, unless power hungry Frank Strongarm (who runs Santa Anita) swipes Oak Tree's dates. Many of horse racing's great moments occured at Hollywood Park. The first Breeders Cup was held there. Seattle Slew lost his first race there, in front of 80,000 screaming fans. But the fact remains, even people from Los Angeles don't like to go there. It once was number one in attendance. In 1976, it averaged 35,000 A DAY! Now, for their last Gold Cup, only 6,000 showed up. Hollywood is spacious and a very safe place to be at, there's lots of security. And there's a card casino there, you can play blackjack and poker games. The neighborhood is a little rough, but not so bad in the day time. Back in June for the Vanity Handicap, I had one of my best-ever days at the races when Zenyatta got up at the wire to beat St. Trinians. I'm sure Zenyatta will give us a thrill again, you won't forget this experience if you show up!

Even though I was born a year later than the crop of '54, I know about General Duke and won't forget him. Many believe he was better than the others (Round Table, Bold Ruler, etc.) He didn't make the Derby and died a few months later. He became a wobbler?

It's our fortune to see greatness realized with Zenyatta. Everyone go see her if you can.

To all Zenyatta Lovers all over the world: Please join us at the wonderful horse racing palace, Hollywood Park on October 2nd. It will be Zenny's last performance in front of her home crowd in her home track. I know the place will be full of noise, excitement and tears as we say good bye to the great one! Hollywood Park is located just 2 or 3 miles from the Los Angeles Airport. There are many hotels in the area and if you cant make it to Churchill for the BC, come out to Hollywood, the weather will be perfect and you will witness a scene you will never forget. And Hollywood is supposed to CLOSE FOR GOOD next year. So for many of us, this will be good bye to Zenyatta and Hollywood Park. I hope to see you . . .

They could also have met her at Oaklawn if they wanted to try her on dirt.I get so sick of people bad mouthing the owners, they love these horses and it it a privlege for us to get to see them. The Mosses have plenty of money, they are in it for the joy of seeing her run. You guys that wnat to belittle them should be ashamed of yourselves. Hush up and enjoy the show, we don't get to see horses like her every day. You will miss her when she retires. Go Zenyatta!

I saw this about a week ago and thought, wow now everyone will finally know about the best race mare in America soon. She has been around for a few years now, and it would be nice for the public to notice her and maybe watch the Breeders Cup to find out what all the fuss is about before she is gone. I hope she gets through the final two races sound and gives the show that only she can give. May she retire as the Queen even if she is beaten on Breeders Cup day they can never take her number of undefeated races in a row record away from her. It will take decades for a horse to win that many races in a row and I will probably not see any horse like this in my lifetime again. What a thrill she has been to watch.

It was a thrill of a lifetime for me to see my first Kentucky Derby...but then I saw Zenyatta run at Hollywood Park and she truly brought tears of happiness to my eyes. What a beautiful amazing girl she is. Weather she wins number 19 or not she will go down in history not only for her record but for capturing the heart of racefans everywhere. Thank you Zenyatta and God bless you.

I agree it is great for Zenyatta to make Oprah's list: an honor for a great mare and positive publicity for the sport. It's a pity, a crying shame, a travesty that save for the Breeders' Cup on ESPN none of her races have been available to the general public. Publicity? Great job NTRA.

What a great highlight to a sport that has needed a superstar for years! Queen Z is all of that and more. I was thinking last night that it hasn't mattered where she ran, Oaklawn included, no one has wanted to show up and compete against her. It now appears the same way in her next race. St. Trinian's is the closest she's had to competition this year, now she's resting for the remainder of the year. I doubt there would have been much more competition had she gone to the East Coast. But that will change come November. After that, I don't think we'll be able to see another spectacular race by Zenyatta, so love and appreciate her now - and all she and her "family" have given back to the Sport of Kings.

Absolute perfection! It has been an amazing few years witnessing Zenyatta. She entered the thoroughbred race scene with one thing on her mind, to win. And she has continued to do just that since day one. She has also captured the hearts of people the world over with her personality-she is what dreams are made of, she is what gives people hope, faith and strength-she is the people's horse. She is the past, present and future all rolled up in one.

Zenyatta is a very extraordinary mare-she is a rare gift and in a league all her own.

There has not been nor likely will there ever be another horse like Zenyatta.
