This big 6 year old mare is a rare "gift" to us all, and especially the sport of kings ! It will be a sad day Nov. 7 th as she will be "retired" and horse racing fans will again be looking for a new king or queen of the track. Unfortunately, it may take a very long time before any of us see a true champion, with personality and character like the queen has shown us. Win, or lose Nov. 6th, Zenyatta is one in a million, and a true champion. She has made the world a better place for anyone, who has had the pleasure of seeing her, and watching her run. GO ZENYATTA, make it 20-0 !!!

You go Zenny! For me, Zen cannot reach any highs higher than were she is right now. I will always have the most affection for her out of any racehorse. She is just so special!!! Hopefully she can safely get through this next race with a win and then on to the BCC. A challenge in the Lady's Secret would be good to move her forward for the Classic. If she can pull off 20 for 20 there would be no words to describe it. LONG LIVE THE QUEEN!!!

I'm in. Just read that RA was retired, so it is left to Zen to continue to attract a new audience. May she be safe this Sat and bring the win! I'm glad for RA that she retired healthy. but I believe the connections did not let her come along at her own pace. Such a rush. If things were done differently we might have seen her racing 5 yrs from now and still being a winner.

This is an excellent idea and as soon as I post this, I am sending my request to Oprah's producers. This would be an absolutely interesting episode for many people out there to learn more about the greats of Zenyatta.

Actually, if you count the Distaff, Z will be trying to win her 3rd straight Breeder's Cup race. You can't get much better (national exposure) than Oprah! As a side note, very sad to hear the passing of Real Quiet. He was such an underdog-always over shadowed by his Baffert stable mate Indian Charlie. Does anyone know what happened? He was such a gutsy horse. RIP Real Quiet.

I'm sure we'll get the "weak field" again routine if Z wins the Classic...(not if Blame shows up and QR loads in the gate) but to only share the title of back to back wins with Tiz Now...NOW that's something no one can deny is the stamp of an all time great...male or female! 20 wins...(I don't want to overlook this Saturday's must deliver...) but talking about 20 wins + club...makes me think of Man O'War and Native Dancer...shivers!!!

I think it would be fantastic! The connections of Zenyatta have given her wonderful treatment, training and are open and kindly and...nice, and Zenyatta is fantastic, period. Her story is something that will polish the tarnish that horse racing's trophy has been gathering.
