Ah, Thank you for mentioning Malhado Island, a Group II winning Steeplechaser in France. He has retired from racing (at age 9) with over $500,000 in earnings, winning 26 times. I own his dam, Mosella and am so proud of his accomplishments! It is my fondest wish that someday I will be able to see him in person and be at Longchamp when the Prix Malhado Island is run!

Great story,my own favourite son of Forli was Forego who

won some famous h,caps carrying large weights but perhaps his greatest achievement was winning the Woodward four years in a row.
