When you go back to Double Time's daughter Alablue it takes off in another major stakes producing branch that nows included Boldnesian and now Asiatic Boy.

Interesting that many of those sires named above are known for the staying power of their mares. How often have you heard a comment around the track, "Oh, he or she is out of a Graustark, or L'Enjoleur, or His Majesty mare", meaning they can get a distance and/or run on an off track.

Another great one from Family 4 is the great mare, "Fanfreluche" (b.f. 1967) by Northern Dancer - Ciboulette by Chop Chop. She was horse of the year in Canada and produced two time horse of the year, L'Enjoleur (by Buckpasser).

Family #4 is a nice family for producing runners and I like the mare line. Pretty good for sires too. Ribot, Cozzene, Graustark & His Majesty, Hail to Reason, Man o'War, Matchem, Whisk Broom, Storm Bird, Rock Sand, Iroquois.
