Send him some Dynaformer mares. If Anak Nakal can run third in the Belmont he has some classic talent and Dynaformer will go well with him.

That was a close one Acai almost got up to win there and although he didn't win he looks like a promising 3yo. And I've got to admit I thought that Anak Nakal was a one year wonder and was never going succeed after his 2yo year. Boy, was I wrong winning the Pennsylvania Derby counts as succeeding to me.

This victory by Anak Nakal was no real surprise to me. It was just further proof of the ho-hum quality of the 3 yr old class.

That being said I wish the year would never end. Once again I was able to capitalize on a year full of betting opportunities in the 3 yr old only races. The $2907 trifecta I had 3 times and the $13,345 superfecta I had added to a real nice year of returns.

The betting public benefits trmendously when a group of horses like this years 3 yr olds comes along. There are so many races written for 3 yr olds only and a sub-par class opens the flood gates for great returns. That type of opportunity typically ends or levels off after the KY Derby.

Here's to the 3 yr olds of 2009!! May you be as mediocre and weak as the class that preceded you!!!!
