I am very surprised that they come out of small volume consignors and TOTALLY surprised that they had aged dams.... the 12th foal of the mare!!! They must be exceptional brothers and sisters.

Interesting! A lot of your discoveries fly in the face of "conventional wisdom". If the majority of these same parameters showed up during the past three to five years (or next year), I'd think you definitely have something! This year is tough because so many things are different (economy, Storm Cat is about done, etc.).

I'm surprised about the broodmare statistics. Earlier this year, I was involved in trying to sell some nice, older, stakes producing mares and found no one wanted a mare over the age of 12 and preferably UNPROVEN (????)!
