As all-weather tracks continue to flourish, let's take a look at some top synthetic sires to see how much influence they have from Bold Ruler and

Isn't it interesting that his influence also shows up on the dam sides of Point Given and Trajectory? Perhaps his sons will become more popular once owners realize that his progeny does well on synthetics. Thanks for all your research, Scot!

re: 7 Over-Performing Synthetic Sires

TIZNOW's biggest runners have, for the most part, when opportunity has presented itself, won on synthetic tracks and on dirt. COLONEL JOHN, BEAR NOW, SLEW'S TIZNOW, SLEW'S TIZZY, TOUGH TIZ'S SIS and TIZ NOW TIZ THEN have won on synthetic and on dirt.

TIZ WONDERFUL, MERCHANT MARINE and DA' TARA have never been on synthetic, so their wins have been on dirt.

FOLKLORE won on dirt, but never got a chance to run on a synthetic track (that I can recall). WELL ARMED has won on synthetic tracks only, but did place in the Dubai World Cup on dirt.

I think that the TIZNOW foals are equally as good on dirt and synthetic.

He was pretty consistent with improving the mares he was bred to, whatever their quality; and considering his humble beginnings in the breeding shed, his last few crops were stellar.

Maybe Claiborne dumped him just a hair early.

(except for 'Put it Back' and even then he's top 10 in FL)

This may help to lessen fears that "inferior" stallions may be "synthetic specialists" you know, the "S" gene, LOL!
