&lt;p&gt;Its so sad that Windfields is finally shutting down - it has always been such an icon. I can remember driving down into Oshawa a few years ago and coming past the mighty farm; it was just awesome, knowing that such greats a Nearctic and Northern Dancer were there. Its the end of a legacy, for sure.&lt;/p&gt;
