Mike, good luck with MO. When I saw him for the first time at BC 2010 I did a double take; he is breathtaking and has the presence of a great horse.

Mike, if your weren't going to win another Eclipse Award or probably two next year, I'd say you should be emcee of the Eclipse Awards ceremony next year. You crack me up - very funny guy. But on a more serious note, thank you for being such an advocate for horses not only during their racing careers but after as well. And also for standing behind the importance of the fan. You are what this sport needs in so many differnt ways. A true ambassador.

Fantastic interview!

I highly recommend everyone listens to at least the last few minutes of the podcast with Mr. Repole's comments regarding the future of the sport. It is exciting to know that someone who has a bit of pull and respect from those at the NTRA and NYRA is in there trying to make a difference for the sport and its future. It is so frustrating for many in and out of the industry who can't get their voices heard regarding the future of the sport. So it is simply fantastic that Mr. Repole is trying to do what so many of us can't.

It is also great that Mr. Repole is so open about everything and I wish him the best of luck. I only hope more owners will be as open as he is with their runners and also try to utilize their power in the industry to help make these positive changes for racing a reality.

I'm no racing insider, but if he's going to last (and not just "last", but sail through it unscathed) through the grueling 3 race TC campaign, I know you don't want to exhaust him, but at the same time, what does someone who's training for a marathon do?

Can't wait for transcript...if it just wasn't so long (40 minutes, geesh) and take so long to get to the point. Yes, yes, I know "A" type here...I can barely manage ATO and I love those guys, but it's short and sweet.
