To all the negative comments about the podcast format... I happen to like the podcast, I have a ten dollar set of ear phones. Nobody knows what i'm doing when there are in. Anytime we can read/listen to people with this much experience in the industry it's a treat for me. Thank You!

I downloaded the podcast, however, it does not appear in my itunes folder. What step am I missing ?

I'll never whine about the format the questions and answers are provided. I'm just happy to have this kind of access to top industry insiders. So thanks to Chris and Blood Horse for doing this. :)

I admit that I was skeptical of the new audio format, because I liked to the read the answers, but after listening to Mark Taylor's discussion, I am very impressed with the audio version. You get much more in-depth answers and explanations.

Mark did a great job and provided very good information. I wished his interview could have been longer, because I would have liked to have heard him discuss even more subjects, but I understand the time constraints.

If you download the file, you can open it in iTunes and download it to your iPod or whatever.

Talkin' Horses podcasts will be available for download on iTunes in the very near future. This is something that we are currently working on.

Is there a possibility of taking these podcasts and making them available on an outlet like iTunes. Where readers and Talkin' Horse fans can download FREE to their iPods and listen to these podcasts at their leisure.

I'm disappointed I didn't get my question answered. My question was, more or less, Have you ever used steroids or any hormonal supplement during the preparation of any horse prior to an auction or a sale?

I was interested in Mr. Taylor's response.

We understand that everyone is looking for a transcript, and many of you have said that you prefer the old Talkin' Horses format. Unfortunately, the production of a written transcript is a time consuming task, and our resources are limited. It's easy for us to post the questions in written format because that's the way they come to us.

Ideally, we would love to have Talkin' Horses be a live, interactive chat with the guest and our loyal BloodHorse.com readers. Unfortunately, a lot of our guests are on tight schedules and are unavailable to sit in front of a computer for an hour or more. Even with our old format, guests were asked to commit to 3 to 4 hours of their time to answer all of the questions.

So, to accommodate our guests, we have gone with the podcast format. We added the written out questions, plus the individual audio responses, after reading your comments last month.

We will continue to do our best to meet your needs.

You go to all this trouble to type out all the questions, ( but no answers,) it takes a week to get the podcast ready, but even though the majority of comments on the first podcast page indicated we preferred reading a transcript over listening to 48 (forty-eight) minutes at talking speed, the one thing you won't do is print out the transcript...

oh well, I still love yah, but I guess my talkin' horses days are done.
